A. WELCOME REMARKS

To support the government’s effort in accelerating economic recovery in construction sector post COVID-19 Pandemic and to encourage transformation towards Construction 4.0 era, we are delighted to announce that the Directorate General of Highways-Ministry of Public Works and Housing of Indonesia along with the Indonesia Road Development Association (IRDA) and Road Engineering Association of Asia and Australasia (REAAA) are organizing the "Asia Australasia Road Conference 2023 (AARC 2023)". Scheduled to be held on August 24-27 2023 at Meurorah Komodo Labuan Bajo Hotel in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

The AARC 2023 is a chain of programs spans four days from technical conference, workshops, business forums, young and professional meeting, to exhibition. The exhibition is the heart of AARC 2023 where everyone attending will gather and interact in the main hallway of Meruorah. We are expecting a diverse group of businesses, entrepreneurs, academics, investors, and start-ups to attend the event.

We chose Labuan Bajo this year to show the world that Indonesia is more than Bali, and to exhibit that we are ready to welcome guests, collaboration, investment, and exchange of cultures. B. ABOUT THE EVENTS

To commemorate the Golden Jubilee of REAAA, partnering with DGH-MPWH and IRDA this year’s Asia Australasia Road Conference is choosing the “Advance Technology Implementation Towards Sustainable Road Development” as the main theme of the event. This conference is expected to attract more than 1,000 participants both national and international.

Schedule: 24 – 26 August 2023 (09.00 – 21.00 WITA/UTC+8)

Venue: Meruorah (Komodo Labuan Bajo Hotel)
